  1. So here are my thoughts on an all NACC team:

OH Katie Vondra Freshman Aurora (1st in conference with 439 kills, 1st in kills per set 4.06 hitting .261 on the season good for 3rd in conference, 374 digs good for 6th in conference)

OH Peyton McKenzie Senior Aurora (2nd in conference with 360 kills, 3rd in kills per set hitting .262 on the season good for 2nd in conference, 1st in conference in aces on the season with 54)

OH Taylor Dunwell Freshman Benedictine (2nd in conference in kills per set hitting .227 on the season)

OH Kaily Moegenburg Junior Concordia Wisconsin (10th in conference in kills hitting .187 on the season)

MH Lauren Nevinski Junior Concordia Wisconsin (1st in conference in blocks per set with 1.11)

Setter Emily Lines Sophomore Aurora (1st in conference in total assists with 1208 and assists per set of 10.79 which are both by a wide margin and 360 digs on the season)

Libero Kristina Billie Sophomore Benedictine (1st in conference in total digs with 633 and digs per set 5.46)

Player of the Year: OH Katie Vondra Freshman Aurora. An electric and savvy hitter who is not just a thumper but hits all the shots who lead a turn around for Aurora helping them double their wins from a year ago to a 26-8 record this year, their best season in over 10 years.

Freshman of the Year: OH Katie Vondra Aurora. See above.

Random: Most stylish coaching staff of the year: Benedictine. I’ve watched enough matches at the Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and NAIA level to make this assertion, Benedictine coaches are the most stylish by a WIDE margin of any of the coaching staffs i’ve seen this year maybe ever.

  2. Anon @ 6:43,
Your NACC list has the players I thought had to be there. From that neck of the woods, I’ll put in a dress-up nod to the North Central (Ill.) staff as well. That observation is coming from a sweats and hoodie wearer.
