Iowa Wesleyan names interim coach

Aleksandra Popovic was announced as the interim head coach at Iowa Wesleyan. She was most recently a graduate assistant at Iowa Wesleyan.

Former Tigers head coach B.J. Wagy stepped down from her roles as coach, assistant athletic director, compliance officer and SAAC adviser earlier this week.

[Updated] Noll resigns at Lake Forest

Heather Noll stepped down after seven seasons as head coach at Lake Forest, creating the fifth opening in the 10-team Midwest Conference this offseason.

MWC members Knox and Monmouth have already announced new head coaches for next season. There will also be new coaches in the conference at Beloit and Lawrence.

Current head coach listings in the Central and Midwest regions also include Blackburn, Concordia (Minn.), Eureka and Northland in addition to an interim designation still attached to the head coach at Marian.

UPDATE (1/27/19): North Park head coach Natalie Dietz stepped down this week.

UPDATE (1/27/19): The Alverno staff directory no longer lists a volleyball head coach. Susan Peterson had coached the Inferno since 2015.

Thebeau tabbed to helm Scots

Emily Thebeau was announced as the new head coach at Monmouth. She was most recently an assistant coach at Greenville.
