UST’s Lloyd, UWEC’s Raskie receive NCAA postgrad scholarships

Whitney Lloyd from St. Thomas and Katrina Raskie from Wisconsin-Eau Claire were named recipients of prestigious NCAA postgraduate scholarships.

Each sports season the NCAA doles out 29 NCAA postgraduate scholarships to men and 29 scholarships to women across all divisions for use in an accredited graduate program.

Staying with the classroom-success theme, the Central and Midwest regions had five players on the Division III Volleyball Academic All-America Team (months ago).
First Team: Haley Bergan, Loras; Jillian Schulte, Cornell.
Second Team: Nora Holtan, Gustavus Adolphus.
Third Team: Savannah Koester, Edgewood; Kristin Stern, Bethel.

Robinson to helm Spalding

Cheneta Robinson was named head coach at Spalding. Robinson was most recently an assistant at Evansville.

Kooi tabbed interim coach at UWSP

Lyndsay Kooi has been named interim head coach at Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Kooi was most recently an assistant coach at Millikin.
