  1. How does Carthage beat #1 in the region and go undefeated for the past week and drop out of their regional ranking? Seems odd

  2. *correction meant to say #1 in the nation

That stuck out to me as well. Impressive results by the Lady Reds. La Crosse and Eau Claire had good weeks as well, but I understand your point.
The Midwest rankings have fluctuated more than any other this season. Carthage’s losses to Whitewater, Stevens Point, Oshkosh, Saint Mary’s and North Park are major hindrances in a couple of criteria.

  4. Fair point. Do they weigh losses earlier in the season equally with later results? Ultimately, its just ironic that a team that beat the #1 team in the Central and Great Lakes Region is left unranked in their region.

  5. Looking at the Pool B schools, do you pick Valley Forge with a .706 winning percentage and a .300 SOS or do you take New Rochelle with a .586 winning percentage and a .496 SOS?

While holding my nose, I’d pick New Rochelle. A .300 SOS is almost impossible.
    What’s your opinion?
