  1. Ricky – Random questions on a slow VB day…

I believe that replay is allowed in VB across all NCAA divisions. If true, have you heard of any college having the capability at the DIII level? Was there any thought to Oshkosh having this capability for the finals this year? Do you know if any NCAA official mentioned it during any site visits they may have had?

    Just curious.

  2. Good question. I have not heard of any D III replays. I’d be surprised if replay were impossible with the UW-Oshkosh video board. However, efficiency is another matter. Students of the award-winning UW-Oshkosh radio/TV/film department produce the games, but that’s a lot of pressure to get camera angles. Then again, if replay could correct one missed call, you’d think it would be worth it.

Speaking of that, I was surprised that my live-action eye missed several touches (and non-touches) during the Olympics. Replay was pretty great in Rio for the most part.
