  1. i was at the Elmhurst tournament. a couple of things. diamond boyd the oh for cornell was the best hitter I saw. WOW. second best hitter I saw was converted former all-American middle from Elmhurst, Melissa nava who is going to make Elmhurst very tough. she is the terminating outside they were missing last year.

    most resilient team award goes to Adolphus gustavus who lost to Elmhurst 2-3 in the 2pm match then turned around and beat uw-whitewater 3-2 in the 4pm match.

    Elmhurst goes 2-0 on the first day, beating both Adolphus and cornell 3-2.

  2. Boyd is a great athlete. She’s also a pretty good basketball player and sprinter on the track team for Cornell.
