  1. With conference play going on there is very little movement as the teams in the West continue to beat the teams they are supposed to beat. Cal Lu, Colorado College, La Verne, CMS, Southwestern, UTD and ETBU once again hold down the first 7 spots. The 8th spot continues to be tricky as previous #8 Whitworth beat current #8 Williamette this week. Instead of staying in the Northwest for this spot, I’ll switch gears and go with TLU. CC heads to UW-Oshkosh Invitational this weekend as they continue their tough schedule. SU heads to California to interrupt the SCIAC schedules giving us a good CMS vs. SU match. Cal Lu will also face La Verne, which previously played a 5 set match.

  2. Ricky,

Being in the sports info business, do you see any issues with processing the poll info and displaying it on a site such as this? I don’t want to cause problems for anyone.

  3. Are you asking in a general sense or with my interest in mind?

I don’t reprint the poll, which is not allowed without the AVCA’s consent.

  4. Do you think it would be a problem to share some of the actual numbers here? The AVCA must have a reason for posting only the adjusted numbers and I don’t want to get you in to hot water by posting the true vote counts.

  5. The AVCA publishes the ballots, so the AVCA isn’t hiding anything. I don’t see a problem with counting votes. I can delete a comment, but an unlisted reason why adjusted numbers are used shouldn’t preclude an accounting of raw data.
