Cornell 3, Northwestern 1 CC’s Diamond Boyd had 12 kills, 6 blocks.

#2 Hope 3, #10 Juniata 2 Set 5 ended 15-8; HC’s Jenna Grasmeyer had 26 kills.

Washington-St. Louis First Round
Thomas More 3, #23 Millikin 2 Set 5 ended 15-8; TMC’s Jenna Fessler had 50 assists, 15 digs, 8 kills.
#5 Emory 3, Webster 0  EU’s Cat McGrath hit 14-1-20.

Stevenson 3, Richard Stockton 2 Set 5 ended 15-9; SU’s Sara Bollinger had 61 assists, 10 digs.

#15 Clarkson 3, Hunter 0 CU’s Kirstie Shurie hit 4-0-5 with 43 assists.
Roger Williams 3, Western Connecticut St. 0 RWU’s Katie Thieret hit 13-0-21.

Williams First Round
MIT 3, Rivier 0 MIT’s Megan Gebhard hit 18-2-39 with 3 blocks.
Bowdoin 3, Regis 0 BC’s Erika Sklaver hit 13-0-20 with 5 blocks.

  1. FYI – CC is still #19 ranked…missing their rank on the lineup for the day.

    I don’t want to put grease on the fire but they really should have bused at least one ranked team to Williams (or fly Emory there instead of St. Louis).

  2. I had heard a rumor that was going to happen but not yet I guess. I am a NE fan but I have no complaint with other regions being unhappy with NE. The 4 1st round matches at Williams were walk overs. Problem is auto qualifiers from low level leagues. Part of me tthinks the NCAA would be embassarred if Emory came in and won a 1st round match say 3, 4, and 5. They just leave NE/NY pretty much alone and hope no on notices.
