2014 AVCA Week 7 poll: Tommies reenter top 10

The top six teams, including unanimous No. 1 Hope, remained the same in the AVCA Week 7 poll.

No. 10 St. Thomas, which defeated No. 11 Juniata, No. 8 Elmhurst and No. 22 Saint Benedict last week, reentered the top 10 for the first time since the Week 1 poll.

Other Central and Midwest teams in the Week 7 top 25: No. 7 Washington-St. Louis; No. 12 UW-Stevens Point; No. 14 Nebraska Wesleyan; No. 20 Carthage; No. 21 Millikin; No. 24 Augsburg; No. 25 UW-Whitewater, which makes its first appearance since  Week 2.

Central and Midwest teams receiving votes this week: Coe; Chicago; Cornell; UW Oshkosh; Wartburg.

My Week 7 top 10 still has Nebraska Wesleyan instead of Colorado College. Why? Because NWU is undefeated against NCAA Division III teams and just so happened to beat CC. Such a controversial opinion I have there.
