Ricky Nelson’s 2012 Week 4 top 10

There should not be much movement this week. Should Hope drop after its four-set loss at Calvin, especially given Emory’s successful weekend? I say no. We’ll see.

The AVCA Week 4 poll comes out on Tuesday.

My rank, (my Week 3 rank, AVCA Week 3 rank), noteworthy results this week
1 (1, 1). Washington-St. Louis 13-1 Idle.
2 (2, 2). Calvin 13-1 W: Hope.
3 (3, 3). Wittenberg 10-2 W: Wooster.
4 (4, 4). Hope 13-2 L: Calvin.
5 (5, 6). Emory 15-2 W: Elmhurst, Randolph-Macon.
6 (6, 5). Christopher Newport 13-2 W: Catholic.
7 (7, 7). St. Thomas 14-1 W: Saint Benedict.
8 (8, 8). Cal Lutheran 11-3 W: Occidental, La Verne.
9 (9, 9). Cortland 17-0 W: New Paltz.
10 (10, 10). Puget Sound 9-2 W: Pacific (Ore.).

The Standout Stats, Standings/Big Matchups and Last Team Standing pages are updated.
