No. 7 Carthage 3, No. 24 Elmhurst 1. Watched it online. Not much separated the two teams, but CC is a top-10 team for a reason. The Lady Reds were very consistent while the Bluejays got a little shaky in stretches, resulting in a rather comfortable win for CC. CC is 3-0 in the CCIW. EC is 1-2.
RV Millikin 3, Wheaton 2. Listened to it online. That was a barnburner. MU stormed back from a 10-point deficit late in Set 4 and eked out a seesaw, 15-13 win in Set 5.
